    Good to know

How do I use Image Color Extractor?

    1. Choose an image: Select a photo, logo or screenshot, or drop it into the box. 2. Pick how many colours: Choose 4 to 10 colours. Similar shades are merged so the palette shows distinct colours. 3. Copy the colours: Click a swatch to copy its hex code, or copy the whole palette as CSS variables.

    How are the colours chosen?

Visible pixels are grouped by similar colour and the largest groups are listed first, with the share of the image each one covers.

    Are transparent areas counted?

No. Pixels that are mostly transparent are ignored, so a logo on a transparent background gives its real colours.
