Who creates the QR image?
The GigaTools server, with its own encoder. Your text is not sent to an outside QR service, and the code is not stored.
Can I change the size or colours?
The code is black on white with error correction level M. The SVG download scales to any size without losing sharpness, and the PNG has 10 pixels per module.
Does the QR code stop working after a while?
No. The content is encoded directly in the pattern with no GigaTools redirect, so a saved image keeps working as long as the link or text in it stays valid.
Who sees the text I encode?
Only the GigaTools server, which builds the code and does not store it. Still, do not put passwords or other secrets in a QR code: anyone who scans it can read them.
