How do I use Password Generator?

How random are the passwords?
Each character is chosen on the GigaTools server with PHP’s random_int(), a cryptographically secure random source. Math.random() is not used.
Which characters can appear?
Letters and the digits 2 to 9, without look-alike characters: there is no lowercase l, no uppercase I or O, and no 0 or 1. The symbols are ! @ # $ % ^ & * - _ = + and ?.
Is every selected type guaranteed to appear?
Yes. One character from each ticked type is placed first, the rest come from the combined set, and the whole password is then shuffled. If you untick every box, lowercase letters, uppercase letters and digits are used.
Is the password sent over the internet?
Yes. It is generated on the GigaTools server and returned to your browser over HTTPS. The tool does not save it, and the response is marked private and not cached.
