Frequently asked questions
How do I use Text Case Converter?
1. Paste your text: Type or paste the text you want to change into the Text box. 2. Choose a case style: Pick an option under Convert to: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case or CONSTANT_CASE. 3. Run and copy the result: Press Run Text Case Converter, then use Copy to take the converted text from the result box.
Which case styles are available?
Nine: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE.
What does Sentence case change?
It lowercases the text and capitalises the first letter of the text, of each sentence after a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark, and of each new line. Proper names stay lowercase, so check them afterwards.
How are code styles such as camelCase built?
The text is split into words at spaces, punctuation and symbols, and also where an existing camelCase or PascalCase word changes case, so myVariableName becomes my, variable and name. Accented letters such as é, ü or ß are kept.
Is my text stored?
Your text is sent over HTTPS to the GigaTools server, converted for that single request and returned to you. The tool does not save it, and the response is marked private so it is not cached.
