Does it test whether links are broken?
No. Despite the page address, it sends no requests and reports no status codes; it only extracts links from your HTML. To test destinations, use the separate Broken Link Checker, which reads a public page and checks up to 20 of its links.
Can I paste a plain list of URLs?
Yes. Plain http and https URLs in the text are listed too, one row each, next to the links from anchor tags.
What is shown for each link?
The visible anchor text with any tags removed. The address appears only when a link has no text, such as some image links, so check the source for exact URLs. Links that JavaScript adds later are not in pasted HTML and cannot be found.
What happens to the HTML I paste?
It is sent to the GigaTools server, scanned for links during that request and returned as a private result. None of the links are visited and the tool does not save your HTML.
