Frequently asked questions
How do I use Lorem Ipsum Generator?
1. Choose what to generate: Pick Paragraphs, Sentences or Words in the Type menu. 2. Set the amount: Enter a number from 1 to 20 in How many?. 3. Generate and copy: Press Run Lorem Ipsum Generator and copy the placeholder text. Run it again for a fresh variation.
How is the text built?
Words are picked at random from a short list of classic Latin filler words. Each sentence has 8 to 16 words and each paragraph has 4 to 6 sentences.
Does it start with Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet?
No. Every result is random, including the first words, so each run gives different text.

Up to 20 paragraphs, sentences or words per run. Run it again and combine the results if you need more.
Is anything I enter stored?
Only your choice of type and amount is sent to the GigaTools server, which generates the text and returns it. Nothing is saved.
