How is the estimate calculated?
It uses one fixed formula: 8 per 1,000 monthly visitors plus 1.5 per authority point, multiplied by the number of links. No marketplace prices, niche or traffic quality are taken into account.
Does it look up the Domain Authority for me?
No. You type the authority value yourself, and the tool does not query Moz, Ahrefs or any other link index. Values above 100 are capped at 100.
Which currency is the result in?
None. The figure is a plain number labelled estimated monthly value, so read it in whatever currency you use for budgeting and adjust it to your market.
Is my input sent anywhere?
The three numbers are sent to the GigaTools server, which runs the formula and returns the result. No website is fetched and no outside service is contacted.
